Some Photos from the ESL gig on 9-20-2009
Hey, Thanks to everyone who came out on sunday to the Eighteenth Street Lounge in D.C. Especially those who made the drive from Philly. It was a great time and we will be playing there again soon. They took some great photos so I thought I’d get all facebook and post them.
Overworld – Electro House royalty free music track
The Second installment of these production music tracks. Overworld’s big chords are reminiscent of a classic otherworldly track from the late nineties. Updated for today. Grab the full version and remix it yourself. All the elements are there, the chords drum tracks, bass line. Cut it up.
This track is ideal for video, films, web, etc. It has an epic quality and is totally visual. If you only need the track, its a steal at $7.49. But the full version at $19.99 assures that you can cut it into your productions easily.

Pixel Pusher – royalty free Ambient Electronic music
So I’m starting something new on the site. This is the first in what should be a lot of royalty free music tracks for use in film, video, and web.
Pixel pusher is a chilled out electronic track at 70 bpm. When you purchase the file you get the full tune in 24 bit wav file. But, it doesn’t stop there… Also included are all of the individual tracks separated so you can rearrange and remix the tune to your liking.
The payment is handled through paypal so it’s secure and guaranteed.
$19.99
If you only need to use an mp3 of the track without all of the indivdual elements you can do that for only
$7.49
Second Sky @ 18th st Lounge DC, Sept 20, 2009
We got asked back to play at the 18th st Lounge. I’m helping out with Keyboards again. Last time was a blast. We packed the outside deck tons of dancin” balzin horns and heavy beats.
So def try to make this, we will not disappoint. Again, we will be playing selections from the Rhythm and Culture repertoire. Tracks by Farid, Thomas Blondet, and Second Sky. It will be the pinnacle of downtempo, house and dub.
Oh and check out these shots from the last gig.
Second Sky (and me on keys) in D.C. July 19 , 2009
Thats right !! I’ll be helping out Second Sky ( a great downtempo band from Lancaster, PA ) in DC. I’m totally psyched because we are playing at the uber hip Eighteenth Street Lounge in Washington D.C.
If you are in town, def come and check it out. here is the flyer with the info.

A nice review from Exclaim.ca
Hey check it out… a review of the record.
decem mix, the december 2008 podcast in January 2009
Dude, its been far too long since the last one. But winter is here, a fresh coat of snow on the ground and a snifter in hand. In fact its a month late already
Took a new approach to these podcasts. Rather than beatmatch everything beforehand I decided to do it the old school way and just mix and listen. Its way more gratifying.
One thing that struck me with this mix is how great music is in the modern age. So many people still beef over digital vs analog, pro tools and tape, old school new scool. But really, now with the tools on an off the shelf computer you can record great music. So people are. So much great music is coming out without the pr machine that used to provide it for us.
For instance, MGMT write great songs, they probably would have been a band without all this technology stuff, but man they use it well… there album pretty much just rules. But it helps they are fantastic songwriters.
enjoy the mix, happy holidays

Solus free download – “Now You’re Here” Mp3
That’s right, one of the new tracks from Rhizome is available free for download.
This is the radio edit of Now You’re Here. Bump it yo !!
Solus Rhizome is out now on Upstairs Recordings
The day has finally come. After too much delay, Rhizome is about to be absorbed into the public’s unconsciousness. Reemergence and convergence is to blame for the over saturated sound feeding back on decades old ideas.
What does this mean, who cares. enjoy. It is available for download NOW
